
Medical Examiner ID’s Rochester Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Near Oronoco
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner has identified the Rochester man who died in a motorcycle crash near Lake Zumbro on Tuesday.

He is one of four Olmsted County residents to die in crashes involving motorcycles in less than a week.
On Saturday two Rochester residents, a 63-year-old man and 62-year-old woman, were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a pickup southwest of Rochester. Their names have not been released.

83-year-old Richard Dean Bedney of Byron lost his life in a motorcycle crash on Hwy. 14 east of Owatonna on Sunday.

The medical examiner identified the victim of Tuesday’s fatal motorcycle crash as Jason Goodman. He was 54 years old.

Authorities said Goodman lost control of his motorcycle and descended an embankment in the 700 block of Fisherman Drive NW, which is about three miles east of Oronoco.
The deadly crash was reported shortly after 8 p.m.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says Goodman was flown from the crash scene to St. Mary’s Hospital where he died from his injuries. Authorities are investigating the motorcycle fatality.
