When interviewed by investigators, the charges say Duran-Ayala admitted that he possessed hundreds of files depicting children engaged in sexual acts on his electronic devices. The criminal complaint alleged that he used 5 accounts on the Kik messaging app to solicit child sexual abuse material and indicates investigators found more than 10,000 messages from his accounts in which he pretended to be a juvenile male.
