
Rochester Salvation Army Announces Leadership Change
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Salvation Army will have a change in leadership by the end of the month.

A news release issued by the organization says the current captains are being appointed to new leadership roles overseas. The new captains are coming to Rochester from out of state.

Rochester Salvation Army Leadership Change to Take Effect June 29
Starting June 29, Captains Michael and Kelly Hanton will take over leadership of the Rochester Salvation Army, the news release announcing the leadership shakeup says.
They’re coming to the Med City from the Salvation Army in Hoffman Estates, IL, which is just outside of Chicago. They currently serve at The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters.
“We look forward to getting to know the Rochester community and serving its residents to the best of our ability,” said Captain Kelly Hanton.
Current Rochester Salvation Army Majors Cornell and Candace Voeller took their positions during the Summer of 2022.
The news release says their new leadership position will take them to Budapest, Hungary.
