A Rochester woman has been sentenced to five years on probation for a felony level drug-related offense.

32-year-old Jenna Cerda pleaded guilty in late April to charges stemming an investigation last fall into over a dozen incidents involving bogus prescriptions for oxycontin and other medications.

Cerda was taken into custody in early December after she went to the Walgreens Pharmacy in northwest Rochester to pick-up a prescription that had been phoned into the store.  Suspicious Walgreens employees had contacted police after they called the health care provider listed on the prescription and were told it was not issued by that office.
