Rochester, MN Burglary Suspects Identified Then Released After Being Found in Woods
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that was captured in progress at a home in southwest Rochester.

That’s according to Captain Tim Parkin. The burglary was reported around 5 p.m. on Thursday.
Parkin says deputies were alerted to the alleged burglary by the homeowner, who reported seeing security camera footage of three individuals inside of his home, which was empty at the time.

Deputies then responded to the home in the 2500 block of Wild Rose LN. Southwest.
The suspects, described as two adults and a juvenile, had fled into a wooded area near the home before law enforcement arrived, Parkin said.
Deputies and members of the Rochester Police Department set up a perimeter and deployed a drone and K-9 to try and find the suspects.
Law enforcement found the suspects shortly after deploying the search resources and detained them without incident, according to the sheriff’s office report.
Parkin says the suspects were identified then released pending further investigation and consideration of charges. Their names have not been released.
