Second Guilty Plea For Violent Rochester Home Invasion
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A second Rochester man has pleaded guilty to a burglary charge for his involvement in a violent home invasion earlier this year.
20-year-old Ngor Mabor and two other men were accused of barging into an apartment in the Eastwood Ridge complex in early February. One of the intruders hit a 20-year-old woman on the head with a hard object and ended up going to the hospital for treatment.
Rochester Police say a 19-year-old resident of the apartment told investigators he had lined up a marijuana purchase with 19-year-old Nelson Soro, who previously pleaded guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced later this month. Mabor's sentencing hearing has been scheduled in early November.
The case against a third defendant is still pending.
