
Kasson Man Accused of Sending 14-Year-old Girl Sexually Explicit Video of Himself

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Kasson man is facing a felony charge for allegedly sending a sexually explicit video of himself to a teenage girl.

That’s according to a criminal complaint filed in Olmsted County Court on Tuesday.
The court document says Rochester police learned of the video and began investigating the case in April.

Kasson Man Accused of Sending Sexually Explicit Video of Himself to 14-Year-Old Girl Over Snapchat
21-year-old Richard Arthur Boggs is charged with one count of distributing material related to or describing sexual conduct with a child via electronic communication.
The complaint says Boggs sent a 14-year-old girl a sexually explicit video of himself through Snapchat. The victim told police she knew Boggs and that the two had been texting.
She also alleged Boggs asked her to send a photo of herself and that he sent her the video after she told him her age twice, according to the complaint.
In an interview with police, Boggs admitted to sending the teen girl the video and said it was an accident.
He also told police he had sent similar videos to other minors in the past, the court document says.
Boggs is being charged via summons. His first court appearance is scheduled for next April.
