
Shooting Reported Near Rochester Clinic, Police Investigating
Responding officers located a shell casing at the scene
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities are investigating a shooting that was reported near a clinic in Rochester.

So far limited information is available. Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to the report of a gunshot around 12:15 Thursday morning.

Rochester, MN Police Investigating Shooting Reported Near Clinic in Southeast Rochester
The gunfire report came from the area of 3rd Ave. and 9th St. Southeast, which is near the Olmsted Medical Clinic.
Responding officers located a shell casing at the scene. The police report indicates no one was struck by the gunfire.
Police say nothing was struck by the discharged round. As of Thursday morning no arrest has been announced.
Grayson said there is no evidence as of Thursday morning to indicate the shooting is connected to a carjacking that happened in Rochester about 90 minutes after the shooting.
