Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – A  woman was fatally injured in a three vehicle traffic wreck near the Rochester airport Friday afternoon.

The State Patrol says the wreck happened around 5:30 p.m. on southbound Highway 63 when a van driven by 33-year-old Audrey Colligan of Stewartville rear-ended a pickup truck that had stopped for traffic. Colligan and an 11-year-old passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The pickup was driven by 41-year-old Christopher Olson of Watertown, SD.  He wasn’t hurt but a passenger, 65-year-old Sandra Benson of Watertown, suffered fatal injuries. Two other passengers were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Olson’s pickup was pushed into a car driven by 40-year-old Jennifer Schedenhelm of Stewartville, who was also treated for non-life threatening injuries.
