Montgomery, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in Le Sueur County have released some additional information about a deadly incident that occurred Tuesday morning in a highway work zone.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 23-year-old Tanner Dosch of Rosemount was fatally injured while working on a project along Highway 99 about 5 miles east of Le Center and 3 miles south of Montgomery. The victim was an employee of Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative.

KEYC-TV in Mankato reported the young man was riding in the bucket of a skid loader when a rope attached to a harness he was wearing was run over and that caused him to be pulled out of the bucket and under the construction equipment. The State Patrol indicated he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Minnesota office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
