The State Patrol says that person was then struck by a GMC Sierra pickup and died at the scene. The crash report on the incident says the male driver of the SUV was transported to the St. Cloud hospital with serious injuries and that alcohol involvement is suspected in that person.

The State Patrol says alcohol use is not suspected for the 20-year-old man driving the pickup, who was not injured. Investigators say they would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the fatal incident, anyone who thinks they may have struck the person on the road, or anyone with useful information.

The name of the 27-year-old man killed in the crash and the names of the two drivers have not been released.
