Statewide Alert Issued for Endangered Missing Minnesota Man
Sturgeon Lake, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BC) has issued a statewide Endangered Missing Person alert for a Minnesota man.

Authorities say he told his loved ones he was traveling south. Officials published the statewide alert on Thursday afternoon.
82-year-old Harvey Ernest Pearson is identified as the missing person. The Sturgeon Lake man was last heard from on Nov. 7.

Pearson stated he was leaving his home in the east central Minnesota community to go to Texas because it was warm, the BCA says.
His son reported getting a message from his father that said he was in Corpus Christi, TX on Nov. 7. No one has had contact with Pearson since he left the voicemail to his son and both of his phones are offline, officials say.
Pearson is known for being active on social media but has not made a post since Nov. 7. The alert says Pearson is connected to his phone, friends and family.
His son says Pearson has been having recent memory issues and mood changes and has been forgetful, the bulletin says.
Pearson is described as 6’2”, 235 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. Authorities believe he could be traveling in a silver 2005 Chevy Silverado with a Minnesota license plate reading CGL-491.
Anyone with information regarding Pearson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Pine County Sheriff’s Office.
