During his tenure, Sandvik says the sheriff’s office has “remained focused on making Mower County a safer place to live while being responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars.”

Sandvik also said the sheriff’s office has "thoughtfully managed” its staffing resources, technology investments, and partnerships with outside service providers, which he says has reduced Mower County’s legal and financial risk.
