Suspect Sought For Murder on Light Rain Train in St. Paul
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on a light rail train in the Twin Cities last night.
A statement issued by Metro Transit Police says officers responded around 8:30 PM to a reported shooting on board a westbound Green Line train in St. Paul. The gunfire occurred as the train was approaching the Hamline Avenue Station.
The news release says the responding officers found a man with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Metro Transit Police, assisted by St. Paul Police, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, are actively searching for a suspect.
The name of the victim has not been released.
