Take the Pups for a Swim at This Southeast Minnesota Pool

Take the pups down to Plainview for a dip in the pool before the end of the summer. For one day only, just before they drain the pool, they are hosting a Puppy Pool Party. It's just $10 a dog, and all proceeds benefit the new dog park (COMING SOON).

In case you missed it, a pretty incredible young lady in Plainview has started and is nearing the end of a sweet goal - to get a dog park in her hometown. Lucero Loyo is about to begin her senior year at PEM, and as a way to give back to the community before taking off for college, she took on this project.

So far, she has raised more than  $1,000 and tells me they are working with the city to determine the location. The GoFundMe money, as well as the Puppy Pool Party proceeds, will be put towards the cost of fencing, land renovation (water tiling, tree planting, spots to sit) and other dog park qualities (garbage, doggy waste bags, a sign).
