Texas Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Teen Girl in Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Texas man has been accused of sexually assaulting a teenager girl in Rochester.

The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Friday, says the alleged sex assault occurred in June of last year. It was reported to Rochester police by Georgetown, TX police about four days later.
Investigators linked the suspect to the reported sex assault through DNA. The victim was 17 at the time of the alleged criminal sexual conduct, the complaint says.
Texas Man Charged in Rochester, MN Teen Sexual Assault Case
The young girl told law enforcement that 39-year-old Justyn Moreno Cruz of Georgetown, TX sexually assaulted her while the two were staying at Rochester home for a family gathering.
She said woke in the night to Cruz touching her then sexually assaulting her. Cruz and the victim were sleeping on a beanbag in the home’s living room, the charges say.

The court document says a sample of DNA found on the victim’s undergarments was a match to Cruz.
Cruz is charged with one count of felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct and a gross misdemeanor count of fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct. He’s due to make his first court appearance in July.
