Areas of freezing drizzle were reported Thursday morning across parts of southeast Minnesota and roads, sidewalks and parking lots were slick in some areas.

The drizzle is expected to be pushed out by a cold front that will produce below normal temperatures for the next several days, ending a two week streak in the Rochester area.

Since January 14th, Rochester’s average daily temperature has been above average. The lowest temperature during that streak was 14 degrees. Daily high temps during that streak hit or exceeded 32 degrees 10 times.

High temps Sunday and Monday may not make it out of the teens.
