Train hits FedEx truck

A FedEx truck that was making deliveries in Freeborn County today never finished its route - it was hit by a train.The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Department says the truck was hit by a Canadian Pacific train just before noon while on a rural private drive near Hayward. The train was traveling at just under

25 miles per hour at the time of the collision. The FedEx driver - identified as 50 year old Timothy Moore of Rudd, Iowa - was taken to the Mayo hospital in Austin for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
