Two more area school referendums

Two more area school district referendums will be decided today.

Voters in the Dover/Eyota and Pine Island districts approved referendums earlier this month and now the school boards in the Kasson/Mantorville and Stewartville districts are hoping for the same result.  The Kasson/Mantorville district has proposed a nearly $40 million expansion and renovation plan involving its elementary and high school buildings.  Stewartville voters are being asked to approve a nearly $25 million project to build a new school for 3rd - 5th graders to deal with an enrollment crunch.
