
Woman Accused of Deliberately Hitting Rochester Man With Car
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester Police arrested a woman accused of deliberately striking a man with her vehicle over the weekend.

A police spokeswoman said officers were dispatched to the incident in the 3100 block of Wellner Dr. northeast around 5:50 a.m. Sunday. The preliminary report indicated a vehicle had jumped the curb with the intention of striking a person.

Responding officers encountered a 26-year-old Rochester man at the scene who had been struck by the vehicle. He suffered what was described as a minor injury.
Officers then arrested 25-year-old Mariam Adiga in connection with the incident. Olmsted County Adult Detention Records indicate Adiga was booked into jail shortly after 6:30 Sunday morning on suspicion of 2nd-degree assault. She is awaiting arraignment in Olmsted County Court.
