Young Man Killed in Faribault Crash
Faribault, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday morning in Faribault.
The patrol's crash report identified the victim as 22-year-old Adam Zaccardi of Burnsville. He was a passenger in a truck that was traveling north of I-35 when the driver lost control and the vehicle went through the median and rolled before coming to rest on the southbound lanes of the freeway. The crash occurred on the northwest edge of Faribault near the city’s airport shortly after 8 AM.
The driver, 21-year-old Zander Zaccardi of Columbia Heights, and a passenger were transported to North Memorial Hospital in the Twin Cities. The State Patrol described both of their injuries as non-life threatening.
