
9-Year-Old Flown to Hospital After Leg Injury on Southern Minnesota Lake
Madison Lake, MN (KROC-AM News)- A 9-year-old boy is recovering after being flown to a medical facility as the result of an injury on a lake in southern Minnesota.

The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a boating accident on the northern shore of Madison Lake. The accident was reported on Saturday.
Deputies determined the boy’s leg was injured by a propeller when he jumped off the back of a boat near a dock. The boy was flown from the lake to a nearby medical facility where he was treated for his injury.
He’s since been released from medical care. Authorities say the boat was being operated by a friend of the boy’s family.
