Rochester, MN ( KROC AM News) - It was another successful run for the Rochester Eagles Cancer Telethon.

The 66th annual event was held at the Mayo Civic Center and carried live on KTTC TV over the weekend.

When the telethon ended Sunday afternoon, donations and pledges totaled nearly $870,000. The number will grow in coming weeks as other fundraising contributions are turned in. All proceeds are used for cancer research.
