Failed ATM Theft Reported at Rochester Credit Union
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester Police are investigating an apparent attempted ATM theft at a Rochester Credit Union.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Spokesperson Amanda Grayson. The alleged theft attempt occurred outside of business hours and has multiple suspects.
Responding officers found a vehicle and tools that could be used to dislodge the ATM from its spot in the drive-through, Grayson says.
Truck and Other Tools Found at Scene of Attempted ATM Theft at Mayo Employees Credit Union Branch in Southeast Rochester, MN
Officers were sent to the scene by a burglar alarm. Grayson says the attempted theft occurred around 4:30 Monday morning at the Mayo Employees Federal Credit Union branch at 4463 Canal Pl. Southeast.
No one was at the scene when officers arrived. Responding officers found the abandoned vehicle, described as a Ford truck, along with a log chain, tow strap and crowbar.
The ATM had been damaged but was still at the scene, the police report says.
As of Monday morning the suspects have not been located, Grayson said. Police say the suspects did not gain access to the interior of the cash machine.
