
Driver Hospitalized After Veering into Opposite Lane in Rochester Crash
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash in Rochester sent an elderly motorist to the hospital over the weekend.

Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says two vehicles were involved in the crash.
It happened around 3 p.m. on Sunday.

72-Year-Old Man Taken to Hospital Following Two-Vehicle Crash in Rochester, MN
Officers responded to the crash in the 4900 block of West Frontage Rd., which is just south of 55th St. Northwest.
The preliminary crash report indicates a northbound vehicle veered into the southbound lane where it collided with an oncoming vehicle.
Grayson described the northbound motorist as a 72-year-old man. He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for an evaluation and further care.
Two people were in the other vehicle. They were not transported to a hospital and their names have not been released.
Officers who responded to the two-vehicle crash did not observe signs of impaired driving, Grayson said.
