Dodge County Girl Survives Near Drowning

There was a near drowning at the Dodge Center Aquatics Center yesterday.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department says  7 year old Courtney Chicos was found unresponsive in the pool around 1 p.m.  A lifeguard spotted her and immediately began CPR. The girl was breathing on her own when Mayo One arrived.

She was  kept overnight at St. Mary’s for observation and was reported in good condition this morning.
