
Fatal Motorcycle-Deer Collision in Lake City

Lake City, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol responded to a fatal crash involving a motorcycle in Lake City today.
The deadly incident was reported around 11:50 AM on Highway 63 near the entrance to the Jewel Golf Club and the cemeteries at the southwest edge of Lake City. The State Patrol says a motorcycle was traveling south on Highway 63 when it collided with a deer and then crashed into a trailer being pulled by a pickup that was headed north on the highway.
A 29-year-old Lake City man was driving the motorcycle. His name has not been released.
The State Patrol says 37-year-old Shamus Ryan of Goodhue was driving the pickup. He had four passengers, a 36-year-old woman from Goodhue and three young children, two 7-year-old boys, and an 11-year-old girl. None of them were injured.
