Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The fifth suspect in a violent Mother’s Day break-in at a Rochester condominium was formally arraigned in Olmsted County Court today.

19-year-old Kane Lee Williams was taken into custody this week after local authorities issued an arrest warrant for him. He is accused of participating in a burglary at a condominium in northwest Rochester on the afternoon of May 11.

Three other men were previously charged in the case. They were identified as 19-year-old Brandon Lawson, 18-year-old Jamykeal Gill-Sanders, and 24-year-old Anthony Alexander. Rochester police also reported the arrest of a juvenile girl, but it is not known if she has been formally charged.

According to the criminal complaints against the men, the victim told police he was inside the bathroom at his residence when he heard a “bang” on the sliding glass door and then saw the glass shatter as four intruders rushed inside. The man indicated the group assaulted him in an attack that was video recorded by the juvenile girl.

It’s alleged the intruders stole $3,000 in cash and a pair of shoes valued at around $1,800.

Williams is charged with three counts of aiding and abetting first-degree burglary, two counts of aiding and abetting felony theft, and one misdemeanor assault charge. His conditional bail has been set at $50,000.
