The Minnesota Health Department has raised the activity level of confirmed influenza cases around the state. The department’s latest weekly report

shows activity is now described as regional. There were 36 hospitalizations of flu victims last week, increasing the seasonal total to 104. That is still well behind the pace from a year ago. There were two more school outbreaks, raising the total to 16. So far this season, the department has not confirmed any flu-related deaths involving patients under the age of 18.
