Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The final defendant in a Rochester murder case today entered into a plea agreement in Olmsted County Court.

21-year-old Darian Klindworth-Woods pleaded guilty to a charge of Aiding an Offender-Accomplice After the Fact for his involvement in the death of 38-year-old Brandon Arndt. He had faced two counts of second-degree murder in the case.

It was alleged Klindworth-Woods was with 28-year-old Malcolm Woods when he fatally shot Arndt after the victim answered a knock on the door to his mobile home in southeast Rochester in the early hours of September 10th, 2018. Woods was found guilty of first-degree murder and was earlier sentenced to life in prison without parole.

A third person, 36-year-old Kielah Parsons, earlier entered an Alford plea to the Aiding and Offender charge and is scheduled to be sentenced next week. The Alford plea means Parsons does not admit guilt but acknowledges there is sufficient evidence to convict her.

Prosecutors alleged the three were upset with Arndt because they mistakenly believed he had something to do with a medical emergency suffered by their grandmother the day before the murder. Arndt lived next door and would often try to provide assistance to her.
