House Committee recommends $30m for Mayo Civic Center project

The Minnesota House Capital Investment Committee approved its 2014 bonding bill last night.

The bill included $30 million in state funds for the planned expansion of the Mayo Civic Center. That’s $7 million less than what the city has been seeking. The Senate hasn’t released its bonding bill yet so it’s not known how much money will be included for the Rochester project.
