The guy says the host was very nice, and he had a pleasant stay, but he thinks the house rules were kinda funny. Way more people thought they were wild...but I'm here to say...at least one of 'em is sheer genius.

Because it is also my bathroom rule.

From the note...

“Before taking a shower, please lay the provided floor mat on the floor...When finished please put it back on the radiator to dry. If you are likely to splash the floor when using the washbasin, please do the same when using it.

“After taking a shower please use the squeegee provided to remove any water clinging onto the glasses, onto the tiles and onto the window in the first-floor bathroom.

“When finished with the squeegee please use the towel that you will find in the bathroom to finish the job of drying the inside of the shower.”

OK, drying the inside of the shower is new to me. but the rest is pretty common, isn't it?

The toilet brush rule is pretty incredible.

The purpose of the toilet brush it to remove any signs of your passage, of whatever colour, from inside the toilet (above and below the water line), from the toilet rim, and from the underside of the toilet seat. The use of the toilet brush is not optional. Please make sure you do not leave any traces of your passage.

I think removing sings of my passage is my favorite...I mean favourite...part.

A lot of people are taking issue with the "men please sit down for 1 and 2" rule when really, they should be pumping their fists and saying YEAH! It is the single best rule for keeping a bathroom clean. Sit. The. Heck. Down. Every. Single. Time.

As I mentioned above, it's my rule, too.
