The charges say the victim and suspect know each other.

Rochester Man Charged With Kidnapping, Criminal Sexual Conduct

42-year-old Gregory Miles Jones is charged with one count each of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, third-degree criminal sexual conduct, false imprisonment, kidnapping, terroristic threats and misdemeanor domestic assault.

Jones arrived at the victim’s home uninvited around 1:45 Monday morning and was let inside where he began drinking alcohol while he and the victim were watching TV, the charges say.

Jones then followed the victim to her bedroom after she told him she was going to bed and eventually demanded they engage in sexual activity.

He then sexually assaulted the victim in her bedroom for several hours, punching her in the head, arms, legs and chest during the alleged assault, the court document says.

Kidnapping Charges Stem From Dragging of Victim

The victim was able to get outside of the home but Jones followed her, grabbed her by her hair and dragged her back into the home, the charges say.

The victim managed to get free again and sought help. Responding officers noted she had missing hair, scratches on her body and blood coming from her ears, according to the complaint.

Officers conducted surveillance on Jones’s home and saw him get dropped off. Police ordered him to stop but Jones went into the home, slammed the door and refused to open up for officers, who were telling him he was under arrest, the warrant says.

Police forced open the front door of the home and Jones fled out the back. Officers found the victim’s phone in the garage of Jones’s home, according to the complaint.

Jones has since spoken with police over the phone and indicated he was on his way to Maryland.

Law enforcement requested a warrant, “due to victim safety and the likelihood that Jones does not respond to a summons,” the court document says.
