
Minnesota Police Officer Witnessed Early Morning Fatal Crash

Circle Pines, MN (KROC-AM News) - A fatal crash in a northern Twin Cities suburb early today was witnessed by a police officer.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says a Centennial Lakes Police Officer was outside of the community's police station in Circle Pines when a vehicle crashed into a snowbank and rolled. The officer was in the parking lot, while the vehicle was traveling east on the road running past the facility when the crash occurred around 2:40 AM.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says the driver was ejected during the crash. First responders from the Centennial Lakes PD and other nearby agencies administered life-saving measures on the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the victim has not been released. The deadly incident remains under investigation.
