Olmsted County Bd Sets Max 2015 Levy

The Olmsted County Board voted this morning to set its 2015 maximum property tax levy.

The figure was put at $85.6 million. That’s about $2 ½ million or 3 ¼ percent higher than this year’s levy.

The proposed budget was set at $185 million. That figure includes the county’s waste management fund.

The board will likely hold a public hearing on its budget and levy in December and then adopt a final figure.
