This is a synthesis of Minnesota, national and international events on the news front.
Scott Johnson (Powerline) recorded the arrest of former Iranian Guard Corps member Mehran Saheli by ICE in St. Paul, pending removal from the U.S.
Controversial Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarity got $15,000 from the county board to hire a PR firm to protect her Leftist reputation from critics, according to Brandi Bennett (Alpha News).
Author T.J. Muscaro reported that Secretary of State Marco Rubio is revoking the visas of Chinese students who have connections to the Chinese Communist Party and intended to study in critical national security fields. Award winning investigative journalist Catherine Herridge, along with the concerns of FBI Director Kash Patel, revealed documents that highlighted direct Chinese interference in the 2020 election, of which the media were allegedly aware. The CCP allegedly manufactured fake driver’s licenses to take advantage of America’s mail-in-ballots.
In foreign policy, according to Jim Hoft (Gateway Pundit), former Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi criticized President Trump for bombing Iran’s nuclear sites, saying Trump ignored the military and Congress and the Constitution by doing the mission without necessary approvals. But critics quickly pointed out Pelosi’s support of President Obama’s Middle East and Africa bombings without Congressional approval.
And, last, on the domestic front, eclectic journalist Sarah Arnold described the appreciation of U.S. Steel workers who credited President Trump for negotiation with Nippon (Japan) Steel to get their manufacturing at U.S. sites, and saving the company from foreign takeover, protecting their jobs, incomes and benefits. All of this as Trump economic and tariff policies are credited with a booming economy.
Israel and America launched devastating attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites and killed several top military commanders and nuclear scientists. U.S. “bunker buster” bombs destroyed the nuclear facilities several stories in depth into the earth at the sites. M.B. Mathews (American Thinker) wrote, “Now Iran’ nuclear enrichment capabilities are gone…Israel is safer…and my guess is America and Israel are not done yet.”
Catherine Salgado (PJ Media) said anti-Mullah Iranians “are enthusiastic about the anticipated fall of the Islamic regime and the potential return of the Crown Prince Pahlavi, heir to the throne of Persia.” The previous Shah of Iran, before the revolution that installed the Islamic leaders, had, Salgado described, instituted progressive reforms that benefited Iranians in general, and Iranian Jews and women.
