Rochester Couple Busted – Again
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man and woman who were arrested a few months ago after a drug raid were busted again Tuesday.
A search warrant was executed at their residence located at 1120 2nd St NE near the Boys and Girls Club around 9 a.m. and officers found nearly 500 grams of methamphetamine - about the same amount seized in the November bust. It has a street value of $27,000.
Officers also seized $6,700 in suspected drug money. In the earlier raid, officers seized $34,000 in cash.
Arrested for a second time on drug-related charges were 39-year-old Michael Mechtel and 40-year-old Marcie Maklenburg. They were out on bail after being charged with the earlier case.
