Rochester Man Threatened by Gun in Possible Racial Incident
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man says he was threatened by a man with a gun who also yelled a racist slur at him early Thursday.
The man called 911 around 2:30 Thursday to report the incident.
The man told police he was walking to a convenience store near the West Circle Dr. Hy-Vee when a passing car stopped. He says the man driving the car yelled the slur and then pointed a gun at him before driving off.
The 26-year-old victim - who is black - described the man as white and young, perhaps high school age. He described the car as a dark-colored Buick model.
