Southern Minnesota Man Killed in Farm Implement Accident
Sleepy Eye, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young man from southern Minnesota lost his life as the result of a farm implement accident Tuesday morning.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office says dispatchers received multiple 911 calls regarding an individual involved in a work-related farm implement accident shortly before 8:45 a.m. The accident was reported at an implement dealership in rural southern Sleepy Eye, which is about 22 miles west of New Ulm.
Upon arrival first responders began treating 27-year-old Austin Brett Trebesch. The Sleepy Eye man was then transported to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
The fatal accident remains under investigation. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry are leading the investigation into the deadly incident.
