Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - One of the men charged in connection with the murder of a Rochester man in June today entered not guilty pleas to aiding and abetting second-degree murder and attempted murder charges.

22-year-old Nautica Cox also pleaded not guilty to a charge of illegal possession of a firearm stemming from the shooting death of 28-year-old Todd Banks Junior in the early hours of June 6th outside the entrance to a downtown Rochester parking ramp. The charges against the Minneapolis man say a Rochester Police Officer on patrol spotted Cox firing a gun in the direction of a group of people at the crime scene and then arrested him after chasing Cox into a nearby alley.

He has not entered pleas to the charges and is currently scheduled to appear in court next Tuesday for an evidentiary hearing. The next court hearing for Cox has not been scheduled. Bail for both men is set at $2 million each.
