
Minnesota Teen Airlifted After Striking Deer, Being Dragged
Willmar, MN (KROC-AM News)- A collision with a deer resulted in a central Minnesota teen being airlifted to a hospital.

That’s according to a news release issued on Wednesday by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office.
First responders were dispatched to the crash shortly before 9:00 Tuesday night.

Teen Woman Hits Deer, Gets Dragged by Vehicle on Rural Central Minnesota Road
The news release says the vehicle-deer collision occurred at a rural intersection about nine miles northeast of Willmar.
Responding deputies found the young motorist’s SUV in the eastern ditch. The preliminary crash investigation determined she was heading north on Kandiyohi County Rd. 8 when she struck the animal, the news release says.
The woman then got out of the SUV and was briefly dragged by the vehicle. Authorities have identified the motorist as 18-year-old Landrie Miller of Kerkhoven, MN.
She was airlifted from the scene for further care. An update on her condition is not available.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office says the crash is under investigation.
