Kelly, who is also from Rochester, was earlier given a one-year stayed prison sentence and was placed on probation for two years for his involvement in the shooting. He faced the same charges as Bunch, but entered into a guilty plea and admitted to the felony charge of reckless discharge of a firearm.
Kelly was also placed on probation for five years for his conviction on a count of felony threats of violence. Court records indicate he entered a guilty plea to the charge in exchange for the dismissal of a felony assault charge in connection with an incident at a southeast Rochester restaurant in March 2023.

In that case, Kelly was accused of engaging a female employee in a verbal altercation at the drive-thru window before he entered the business and made threatening statements toward her while holding a baseball bat.
