Thin Ice Leads to Death, Multiple Rescues Across Minnesota
Monday night’s rescue was one of multiple recent incidents involving thin ice in Minnesota.
A 78-year-old Duluth man lost his life after apparently falling through ice while skating on a bay in Superior, WI. In Woodbury, three people had to be rescued after falling through ice on two separate bodies of water.
Authorities are reminding the public that ice is never 100% safe and to stay off ice that is less than four inches thick.
