
Update: Vulnerable Minnesota Man Who Vanished During Trip to Buy Battery Found Safe
(UPDATE) The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension announced Thursday afternoon that the missing person alert for 61-year-old Thomas Biatek had been canceled. They update indicated the Lino Lak man has been located and is safe.
Lino Lakes, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has issued a statewide missing person alert for a vulnerable man.

Authorities sent the alert Wednesday night. He was last seen around 10:30 Wednesday morning.
The bulletin says 61-year-old Thomas George Biatek left his Lino Lakes home to purchase a battery for a contractor who was waiting at his home but never returned.

Statewide Missing Person Alert Issued for Vulnerable Twin Cities Man
Authorities say an Apple Airtag attached to his keys indicated he traveled to Wyoming, then Princeton before stopping to buy gas at a station in Onamia.
The trail then went cold as he began traveling south back towards the Twin Cities on Hwy. 169. His last known location is Milica.
Authorities say Biatek is believed to be driving a 2020 turquoise blue Subaru Forester with a Minnesota license plate that reads EXV-170.
Biatek is described as six feet tall, 210 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a black and gray button up shirt with blue jeans, authorities say.
Officials are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact 911 or Lino Lakes Public Safety at 763-427-1212.
