Minneapolis, MN (Learfield)  --  State and local officials kept their fingers crossed while trains carrying crude oil from the North Dakota fields passed through downtown Minneapolis this summer.

B-N-S-F Railway says those trains are back on their usual routes now.  The railroad was working on a 326 million dollar system upgrade.  The oil train traffic on the downtown tracks slowed down in October and involves no more than three trains-a-week now.

No incidents were reported while the volatile cargo passed through the heavily-populated area.
