She said a man approached her and forced her into a silver car where another man was waiting.
The men drove around with the young girl before being pushed out of the car while it was traveling at an estimated 5 mph, the news release says.
The 13-year-old girl suffered a cut to her head that was suspected to have been caused by her being pushed out of a moving vehicle.
The teen girl described the man who approached her as white, 25-40 years old, 5’10 or taller, short brown hair, patchy facial hair, wearing a t-shirt and baggy shorts.
Authorities say the man who was already in the car is described as black, 25-40 years old, wearing a black sweater, baggy jeans with cargo pockets.
The 13-year-old told law enforcement that she does not know either one of the two subjects. The Winona County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing and the news release indicates she was never reported missing.
