Wrong-Way DWI Suspect Found Unconscious in Ditch of Rural Rochester Road
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A man suspected of being intoxicated while driving the wrong way on a rural Rochester road was found in a crashed vehicle Monday night.

Preliminary information released by the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a driving complaint involving a wrong-way driver around 10:45 p.m.
Captain Tim Parkin said dispatch noted the vehicle was also seen driving all over the road and in the ditch.
Deputies Break Window to Aid Rochester DWI Suspect Found Unconscious in Vehicle
The call came from the area of North Broadway Ave. and Buckridge Drive in rural northeastern Rochester. Parkin said responding deputies found the suspect vehicle in the ditch.
The driver, described as a 64-year-old Rochester man, was seen in the vehicle unconscious. Deputies broke open the vehicle window and rendered aid.
The driver then came to, Parkin said. The motorist was taken to a hospital for further care. His current condition is not available.
Parkin says deputies obtained a warrant to assist with the DWI investigation. He says charges are pending the results of the investigation.
