Albert Lea Man Critical After Motorcycle Crash

A Mayo Clinic spokesperson says an Albert Lea man is listed in critical condition at St. Mary’s Hospital with what authorities described as a life threatening head injury suffered in a motorcycle crash late Wednesday night or early Thursday.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Department says 22-year-old Christopher Edwards was found next to his motorcycle along a rural road near Albert Lea around 5:30 Thursday morning.

Authorities had launched a search for the young man about an hour earlier after his family reported him missing.
