Charges – Rochester Man Busted After Alleged Drug Deals
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Charges have been filed against a Rochester man accused of selling fentanyl pills.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Olmsted County Court the charges against 26-year-old Devantae Noiheuan-Osborne are based on an investigation that spanned over several months beginning in July. He is accused of selling significant quantities of M30 pills that tested positive for fentanyl to a confidential reliable informant working with a Rochester Police detective on several occasions.
The charges allege the CRI, who was equipped with covert recording devices, went Noiheuan-Osborne's home in southeast Rochester on three separate occasions in late July, early August, and early September and purchased pills containing the opioid from the defendant. The court document says the number of pills involved in each of the purchases exceeded 40.
The criminal complaint also states that Rochester Police executed a search warrant at Noiheuan-Osborne's residence last week and found two fentanyl pills after he told investigators there were no drugs in the house and denied using or selling drugs.
Noiheuan-Osborne was formally arraigned last Friday in Olmsted County Court on three counts of first-degree drug sales. He was released without bail and was ordered to return to court next month.
