Dodge Center Man Killed in Crash

The State Patrol says a 20-year-old Dodge Center man was killed Monday morning in a traffic crash just west of Rochester.

Troy Sahr was headed east on Highway 14 when his car rear-ended a pickup pulling a trailer near the intersection with 7th Street Northwest shortly after 10 a.m. Sahr was rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup, 70-year-old William Bardwell of Stewartville, was not injured.

The State Patrol report notes the roadway was wet when the fatal crash occurred.
